It’s the 40th Anniversary of the
Oatley West Public School Community Festival!
Preparations for this year’s OWPS Community Festival are well underway, and the festival committee is working hard behind the scenes to make this an event to remember.
First held in 1980 as the OWPS Art and Craft Show, the OWPS Community Festival is Oatley West Public School’s largest annual event, attracting thousands of attendees from across the Georges River and Sydney. The festival is a celebration of local talent and community spirit, providing a fun weekend of activities and experiences for everyone. Revenue generated by the event allows the OWPS P&C to invest in OWPS infrastructure, teaching and educational tools, sporting equipment, technology resources and more – benefiting current and future OWPS students, staff, families and community members.
Celebrating 40 years!
2021 is a particularly exciting year, as it marks our 40th anniversary (sadly COVID meant that our 2020 festival had to be cancelled), so expect lots more fun and community spirit!
