SAVE THE DATE
It’s time to come together again! After two years of online events, the Oatley West Public School Community Festival will be back this August 26-28th with all your favourite activities.
Preparations for this year’s OWPS Community Festival are well underway, and the festival committee is working hard behind the scenes to make this an event to remember.
First held in 1980 as the OWPS Art and Craft Show, the OWPS Community Festival is Oatley West Public School’s largest annual event, attracting thousands of attendees from across the Georges River and Sydney. The festival is a celebration of local talent and community spirit, providing a fun weekend of activities and experiences for everyone. Revenue generated by the event allows the OWPS P&C to invest in OWPS infrastructure, teaching and educational tools, sporting equipment, technology resources and more – benefiting current and future OWPS students, staff, families and community members.
Celebrating over 40 years of fun and 75 years of learning!
2020 marked our 40th anniversary although sadly COVID meant that in both 2020 and 2021 festivals we could only host smaller online events.
The first students attended OWPS in 1947 so this year also marks the 75th year of the whole school. Expect lots of fun and community spirit as well as a trip down memory lane!
